Up for sale is a really nice complete turbo kit i got off of a 1981 320I. Its used but really nice. Includes turbo, Intercooler, chrome pipes, Polished intake manifold, Exhaust manifold, Head (racing cam installed), down pipe, Bypass valve, Oil outlet from filter bracket. and much more! What kind of cars would this kit fit? Only 320s?

I've heard that most turbo kits can be made to fit lots of different cars, does this have any truth to it? Like, could it be made to fit my e36 325is?

Also, how many KMs on it? Thx

Hey guys thanks for the questions.
Unfortunatly im a volvo guy and dont know the specs on your cars. Sorry. I dont even know what a e36 is..but im guessing its body style or year model. The kit bolts up to the 4 cylinder motor. I was told it would go on any 4 cyl. BMW. As thats what it came off of. The intake and exhaust manifolds are not custom built they are factory built. Intake says CALLAWAY and exhaust says EAE (i think-its more of a pattern) and the turbo is Rajay. Im working on getting my server up right now so i can host some picts. email me with your email address if you want me to just shoot you over a few in the meantime.

Ok, well it doesnt sound like it would fit my ride easily, thats ok.

For your future reference though:
E30 = 84-91 3-series
E36 = 92-98 3-series
E46 = 99+ 3-series

not sure. Im posting right now about putting the 4" round BMW projectors and the Hella angle eyes in my volvo. I just posted a pict of the front of my 242 with the duel round bezel installed. Im working on the wiring issues right now. You guys are lucky to have such nice cars to start with.

it would fit my engine but there is no way id pay that much

I watched the non-intercooled version of this kit sell on ebay for $2500 not too long ago. I hear these kits go for around 5 or 6 grand new if you can find them. Thanks for the input guys! I already have an offer for $2k locally but the guy needs some time to come up with the cash. Hey question for you guys..Are there any BMW swaps coming up in cali?

FYI

I posted some of the pics on an 02 message board. And the
folks there say it is a BAE/Callaway set-up...with Intercooler
added.

Supposedly very slick in late 70's/early 80's...
