I was more interested in what the intercooler is connected to, the oil cooler setup, and what else is going on under the hood.

Active Autowerke supercharged. The oil cooler is for the supercharger fluid.

I donno man, e36s are missing some wider fenders...

But this e36 > most e46s simply because of what the owner has done to it and how well it's kept.

maybe, but overall its so much cleaner imo.

I dont see any fender complaints for an e39m5 and its quite similar. (re:fenders)
