BBS Style is correct... Needed to be replaced due to damage to previous set. Still prefer the black centers and really like the contrast of the red calipers. Hey, I live in Brampton. I wasnt going to drop for an original BBS set and have them damaged too... Really like the look on these...

How much have I spent? Running total is about $6K in upgrades; but worth every dime... Only $6k because of the $1k spent on rims and painting, etc... I do all my own work, so I have no shop charges to deal with.... My buddies garage or my driveway; either way I have all the tools.

That's why they're getting damaged - because they're low quality reps. Believe it or not, original BBS wheels have much greater structural integrity... there's a reason they cost a lot to begin with. Don't justify it because of the roads, I drive through the same roads and haven't had an issue bending any of my wheels now or in the past because I drive as carefully as I possibly can to avoid potholes.

But hey, whatever floats your boat!

It ultimately came down to budget...I was not expecting to have to replace the wheels and it caught me off guard and going to real BBS just wasn't in the budget... I've also been stretching the budget as I work on my Z3M that I recently purchased... so, replicas it was

And that's perfectly fine - everyone has their own priorities. Likewise, I stuck with OEM wheels instead of spending more on aftermarket wheels because ultimately I want to up the boost on my 335i in the very near future.

I was just nitpicking and saying don't justify your purchase solely because BBS/etc can't be run on our roads because of fears of bending/damage.

yes you were.... LOL...

Budget was spent on buying the top quality performance enhancing options; AA race FMIC, aFe intake, BMS oil catch can, AA diverter pipe and AA blow-off valve, JB4, BT Cable for Bimmerboost back-end flash, Racing Dynamics fixed front strut brace and H&R Coil overs (which started this whole endeavor)... Styling options have taken a second place, plus had I bought real BBS wheels and then painted as I have, i'd be getting flack for ruining a set of BBS..... So I go replica on my wheels... No compromises anywhere else on the vehicle...

And yes it goes like stink.... After I install the catless DPs, I should be putting close to 470hp to the wheels and over 500hp at the crank. Car sticks like glue in the corners.

Its however become the garage queen as I'm driving the Z3M mostly these days....

I live and drive in brampton all the time as well so I know how easy it is to hit a bad pothole and bend a rim. But, like Anuk said, cheap quality wheels bend much quicker than legit wheels. You get what you pay for. Also BBS Style and BBS aren't the same

Hey Guys;

Got the car finally washed and managed to get some descent pictures. I know the wheel aren't BBS and personally I really like the look of these wheels. I love the black centres and I've run replica BBS and BMW wheels for the last 7 years in my e46 previously and my current e90. First time I've ever had to replace a set of replicas. To me that's a pretty good investment vs. buying original wheels. The thousands I've saved over the years have gone into allowing to do additional mods on my cars.

Here is a few pictures of how it looks with all the touches:
