^^this is true. There's no way that you only have 8% drivetrain loss, particularly on AWD.

Typical drivetrain loss for a manual is 15-18%, which means that if you have 400 at the crank you have ~338 at the wheels.

Just saw the pics on my laptop instead of mobile.

Q: What trails are you planning on hitting with that thing?!?
(it's begging for a drop, even just $200 H&R Sport springs)

Is your only additional mod the intake? That won't be giving you 25WHP... nowhere near that. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't be surprised that after only a handful of hard runs, that thing might even heat soak pretty hard considering how it's all open right next to the engine.

Do you have photos of your car with stock wheels?

Check the rest if the thread.... the main upgrade is the JB4 unit. It adds 100hp on a completely stock configuration. THe blow-off and intake and oil catch can are to support the JB4. THe AA inter-cooler is going in tomorrow..

Aww maan - you guys are ballbreakers!

I have to give this guy some props for dropping so much dough on a car he just picked up... I've had my car for 2 years and it's still bone stock! oh wait - I cut some wires to hook up an aux audio jack for MP3/ipod....

The trail ride comment was funny though

Lol. Welcome to online forums.

As for the trail ride... well, OP's car is AWD and has enough fender gap to put Lisa Ann's anal fisting escapades to shame.

Phil is right, if indeed you have 400 crank.

Also it is important to know, are you quoting those 335i power numbers from a stick or auto? It can make a 10% difference roughly. If those were stick numbers than you number is 10% roughly less and it makes perfect sense.

So if in fact you had 400 crank hp my guess is due to the auto (more power loss) and awd you like have closer to 325-340ish "rw" hp.

Seems like a lot because it is, it's an auto and a rough estimate is generally 15% loss if not a little more.

Also and another rough estimate of power, if you had roughly 340 rw I would guess you would trap around 110-112 mph+ with a solid 1.8 60 ft and run a high 12 seconds.

So if curious what cars you may beat in a drag race, there you go, situation is a perfect run of course.

Damn son, you went to work! I've had mine for a while now and all I've added were some LED interior lights lol.

I like the car but it would definitely look a lot better an inch or so lower. I would also suggest some black grills as I think they totally transform the front end.

I believe the xDrive sport models get all sport components (seats, steering wheel, wheels) but no changes in suspension over the xDrive base.

Hey Filip. probably right but wont be far from that.... You going to the fall cruise? I'm planning to be there...

My general comment about mods; beauty is in the eye of the beholder..... each to their own. Not modding this time for outragious; going to look stock from the outside.... a sleeper....
