Range Rovers actually purposeful in urban environment?

Me thinks so!
Guy runs over multiple lowlife thugs in NYC while they swarm and block him in after brake checking him with his family in the car.
Looks like an open shut case of self defense.

Heres some different footage of how the thugs were riding on the cruise (pre incident)

http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=3cd_1380579664

At first there were reports that he killed someone and there were multiple injuries, but those claims were false, noone died and there were no reports of injuries except the driver had lacerations to his face after being attacked according to NYC police.

This is insane!

I don't understand why part of that biker gang would release this incrimating footage??

Also why didn't the guy in the Land Rover have his door locked??

I don't expect someone who is involved in that kind of douchebaggery to have an IQ over 80
"dude this is sick! That RR guy is f ucked once this gets to the police! And look, i was a part of this, i was there! I'm awesome!"
And because range rovers...the locks didnt work.

Update: guy who was beside the dude that brake checked the driver got run over, is paralyzed, and in a coma. So many conflicting posts going around since it started but thats from his mother.
Someone stated it nicely.
"If you do stupid shit you may get run the **** over. If you hang with people who do stupid shit you may also get run the **** over."

i just saw this on the news. GOOD FOR THE DRIVER.

I wish he put in reverse and ran the rest of them down.

I cant believe I heard on the news "They are investigating the driver of the SUV for his actions".

Like he did something wrong.

my favourite part was of the loser wife on the news talking about her BF in the hospital.

Everyone on a motorcycle in that video is to blame for what happpened. The reason is that none of them told their loser friend (the one that break cheked) to let it go.

I thought the same things...

Why not lock door and why not throw it in reverse once in traffic and run over the rest.

Also is it possible a newer RR doesn't have auto lock door function mandatory.

So this is just like any weekend cruise, happened to be with motorcycle, so
my observation is where is the cruise leader? was there any pre-announcement about
ride safely and have a good time as what Jay would have done.

From the video, it started by the "brake check", that biker should have been thrown out immediately by the cruise organiser.

I am with the RR driver for he did the right thing for his family was in danger especially with an infant in the car.

Frigging herd mentality..

if you saw the other videos, there was no ride leader. It was a wild pack of dawgs roaming lose on the streets. They were riding on side walks, blocking streets, cutting people off. There were dozens and dozens of bikes without plates.

These weren't bikers going on an organized cruise. This was a group of out of control hooligans.

A lot of those bikes (that look like dirt bikes, are street legal), even some of the ATV's had plates on them, not sure just how street legal that is in NY.

This is almost a case of self defence...with that many bikers around, I would have done the same! They got what they deserved!!! I have a few go to jail.

Can't believe there are so many rednecks in a city like NYC.

For real! I saw up till they bashed the window...man, ****ing gang/pack mentality. I hate guns, but wouldn't have been upset if the driver started capping them.

There's been so many conflicting reports since this came out since it came about. And the media is to blame.
The driver of the RR is not in a coma, he had bruises and lacerations on his face from the beating.
The media stated that the bikers slashed his tires, when it could very well be the result of running over some foot pegs and biker bones. No actual footage was shown of a knife slashing a tire, the only thing we know is he was riding on rim from pictures after they pulled him out of the car.
The guy who is in the hospital is in a coma, on a ventilator due to broken ribs and bruised lungs, has 2 broken legs and is paralyzed from his spine being crushed in 2 places (report from the family)
The video of them attacking the prius is from 2011, but this is what they do on their peaceful cruises.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes
