BMW E28 535is Euro'd-Florida car, low km, records, enthusiast owned, never seen salt
Hate to do this.
If you plan on driving it in the winter, then please stop reading.
All test drives will be done by me.
Cleanest e28 you will find.
Enthusiast owned almost all its life. NEVER winter driven, stored always-and has still been rustproofed yearly ever since it was imported to canada. Previous owner was a bmwcca member who was a bimmer fanatic. Owner before that was a bmw mechanic. Oil changed regularly, amsoil 5w40 synthetic and all other fluids changed yearly after storage. Service records and papers from 1987.
I purchased the car about 7 months ago and planned on keeping it for the rest of my life.
For years I was looking all over canada and parts of the states for a lachsillber metallic on cardinal red e28 and this was the cleanest one I could find, and now I unfortunately have to sell it.
Original crack free dashboard! No rips in the seats or bolsters! Mint headliner. Car washed weekly and waxed monthly
No accidents. Clean history
The m30b34 is very smooth and pulls like a train, super smooth very healthy and runs at a perfect 180 degrees. No leaks, doesn't burn any oil
Only 203,000km on both car and body. Everything original...body panels, engine, tranny
New oem parts and things that have been done since I've owned it:
-oil and filter amsoil 5w40 synthetic
-transmission fluid amsoil
-power steering belt
-fuel pump relay
-windshield washer pump
-powerflex subframe bushings
-u joints lubed
-front brake discs
-thermostat and gasket
-all water hoses
-expansion tank and cap
-aftermarket exhaust(perfect exhaust note)
-windshield and gasket (lifetime warranty)
-door bump stops
-euro seatbelt clips (not installed yet)
-mint euro bumpers
-mint late euro valance
-painted rear valance
-mint euro headlights
-oem bbs style 19 17x8 square no curb rash
-top of the line kenwood deck I forget the model name
-water temp and oil pressure guage
I'm probably forgetting something
Previous owner was a BMWCCA member and did all work to the car on his own. He really babied it. But he passed all service history that he had when he did take it to the shop. All work done at bavarian motors
-tie rod assembly
-some sort of front speakers/forget which
Comes with bunch of other parts and Bentley manual
All oem parts.
That's it. Car has had OCD oil changes done every 3-4000 5w40 amsoil synthetic euro formula.
Yes there are some things that need attention-and the a/c doesn't work(that's normal)
Needs new carpets
Turn signals need to be wired(easy)
It has a shimmy at 80- Control arm bushings...and also the passenger side rim is slightly bent, but the car comes with 5 rims so that can be swapped.
Needs nothing to certify. Some nice bilstien sports and sport springs would make it even more fun!
So there it is, the sexiest and best handling sedan ever built. Real head turner, you get guys in 100k m6's drooling and others who are shocked to see that an 80's car can be so quick. Even had a guy filming me on his phone on my way home. Gets complimented often
But that's not the point. You are buying the machine, not the looks. Looks are icing on the cake, and these are the greatest bmw's/cars ever built and a joy to drive
So if you wanted an e28 congratulations on your find. I will regret selling it as it has huge sentimental value to me but that's life. I'd be at ease knowing the new owner is taking car of it
We enthusiasts are caretakers. I left my mark in the cars history now it's time to pass the torch on to the next individual who will do the same and I am serious about finding it a good home
Not parting anything
BETTER PICS SOON very sorry for the horrendous
I wanna see it go to a good home
If not sold by November 30 car will no longer be for sale
