Brand new brakes making clicking noise under braking.
I've just put brand new rotors and pads on all four corners. Things went well and I lubed the pins with caliper lube as well as the feet of the pads with copper anti-seize. Everything worked well for the first 30km or so until I went on the highway. Under moderate to hard braking pressure, the front left brakes make a distinctive "clicking" sound that is speed-dependent (clicks once per revolution). I can also feel it pulse in the brake pedal.
I do not think the rotor is warped at all since braking is silky smooth with light pressure at any speed. Today, I pulled the wheel and spun the rotor to see if it was sticlking anywhere. The rotor spun but was somewhat stiff. I cleaned the surface of both sides again to make sure no lube or contamination was on the rotor. The sound still persisted.
I have taken a video of the sound:
