I've had alot of questions regarding the brakes so I will clarify things...the car is missing calipers, but I have stock rotors and the hardware.

To be honest guys, this is not the car to purchase if your looking for a street car...you would be better off purchasing a complete car. That being said, it's an excellent car for the track or someone looking to do a custom build.

Hey, we discussed your car a while ago. I'm surprised it hasn't found a new home yet.

Wasn't it also in need of a suspension?

I'm curious why you don't consider this vehicle a good candidate for the street. Was the nature of the accident affecting this opinion in any way? I did notice the passenger side HPS liner (pillar mounted airbag) is peeling back.

In theory I could slap on my M3 wheel, buy some LED tails, OE catback, calipers, and bolt the 18" VMRs to have a budget M3 Then I'd be passionately searching for a IR or cinnamon interior.

That's correct, it doesn't have suspension at the moment. However, I will be purchasing a set of OEM shocks and springs when the car sells to help the buyer get it back home.

It's not that I don't consider the car a good candidate for the street. It would make a fantastic street car and great buget build for someone mechanically inclined (like yourself), but not for the "average Joe" with no parts who wants to drive their new M3 next week. They would be better off paying a bit more for a complete car...this one obviusly needs some parts sourced and someone with the time to install them.

Personally, I find the build process half the fun...but that's just me.

Damn, the car is 5 hours away from me
I'd really like to see it in person. Are you storing it somewhere or is Pembroke where you're located?

Don't remember if you told me this before, but do you have details on the accident which caused the rebuilt title? (claim amount, location of impact, etc.) Feel free to PM if you prefer.

And I agree with you that building it is half the fun
You got rid of the stuff I'd likely be replacing anyways.

It's just in my garage at home and can be seen most weekends.

The only info I have on the accident is what I was told when I purchased the vehicle...that it had been rear ended on the passenger side before being imported into Canada. I suspect the entire car was painted when they did the repair to match the paint. Other than that, I would be glad to provide any potential buyers with the VIN# so they can run a Carfax and/or purchase a used vehicle package.

I have an OEM M3 suspension in my garage that would help people get it on the road (or track). Metal, you can PM me if you want the details.

It's still available. I'm slowly getting the parts to put it back on the road to sell as a complete street car again.
