I see this all the time, this is the first time ive seen an e46 coupe do it.

WTF, ppl like that make the hiway dangerous, forcing lines of cars to pass on the right.

If you didnt know, the posted speed limit on 400 series highways in Ontario is 100 kph.

Blame the government, not the drivers.

With the amount of braindead new immigrants in the GTA, you will have this happen more often than not until the become accustomed to driving on the shitty 401.

rule..posted speed limit 100km/hr...or flow of traffic... u only figured this out now that people don't pass on the left?? it's doesn't apply here in Toronto... lol... I think you should worry more about those on bikes who come out of nowhere lane splitting doing double the speed limit.

None the less, "stay right except to pass" goes for all roads with 2+ lanes in NA.

If your happy travelling the same speed as a person in the right lane, get in front of or behind him, NOT DIRECTLY BESIDE THEM.

Flow of traffic does not mean you can speed by the way. It means you can drive slow when necessary.

In NA? Every state and province have their own traffic rules. In Ontario there is no "stay right except to pass" law.

It may not be a "law", but its a common courtesy at the very least, and a posted rule on some ontario roads(single lane highways when a left lane starts). Its like holding an elevator door open for someone whos steps away, we all know about, we all do it, yet the is no written rule. "Keep right except to pass" is a posted sign that could appear on our drivers tests.

I have no issue with ppl who want to travel 100 on the 401, there is plenty of room for them, just NOT in the far left lane.

The 401 (in the gta) can better accommodate 500 100km/h drivers in the right lane, than 2-3 of them hanging in the far left lane.

SickFinga, do you drive a steady 100km/h when you travel the 401?

No, I do 80, saving the environment.

The point of my reply was that it was perfectly legal to drive 100km/h in the left lane. And Rob is right, blame the government, ranting on a forum won't accomplish anything.

Like hell you go 80. You choose to drive an m3 over a prius, your not committed to saving the environment my friend.

If you think I expected results on my next 401 run from this thread your nuts.

Its not illegal to pay for a tank of gas with pennies, at a crowded gas station, with line ups inside and out. But most ppl would realize the toll on society its taking.

Actually, no, you can not insist on paying with pennies at a gas station.
