|| 2003 330i M-Sport Imola Red 6 Speed ||

Hi, I've got my car up for sale. I dont post much on this board and Im not an active member of any forum for a long time but I decided to post it on Max just to get a rough ball park price for my car from local members. I would appreciate if this thread stays civil and respectful to all parties.
I;ve got a number in my head but I know that IM way off so I need you (active members) to tell me whats it worth.

Car:

2003 BMW 330i Imola Red 6 Speed MS45. May 2003 build date. 245xxx Kms to date. Driven from Toronto to Newmarket 6 days a week for the past 3 years. Thats how I put over 90,000kms in 3 years
Real M-Sport . I have a build sheet to support that fact to reference off VIN for interested buyers.
Black leather interior
3 owners. I've owned it for 3 years now.
Maintenance :
-This car has been maintained by me for the past 3 years and I've done as much as I could and some of the things are :
-Cooling system , fully changed with all BMW parts except for the w/p I used Stewart water pump
-Front control arms (oe M-Sport2 arms)
-FCAB Powerflex
-Bimmerworld rear subfloor reinforcement done by RMP.
-Powerflex rear subframe bushes (yellow) also done by RMP
-Powerflex RTAB
-3.38 diff done just this year with Redline
-24mm front sway bar (from E46 Vert) I think I changed rear too but cant remember
-SS headers
-Mark D'Sylva ECU tune, one of a kind if you will. Noone esle is got this tune for MS45
-OEM BMW performance shifter and all new bushes
-NEW oe shocks and springs in 2011
-Rotors and pads done this year in Feb
-Disa, all 6 plugs , new intake boots, VCG, CCV (insulated), both belts and all 3 pulleys, both PRE cat O2 sensors, Fuel Pump , Gas Cap, Intake cam sensors, Motor mounts (M3), Trans mounts AKG, AUX cable , new headlight lenses, bosch projector retrofit, led taillights... and much much much more. I've got a spread sheet that I can send to all interested parties that will add up to over $6000 with maintenance and a few mods if you want to call them that .

-Car would come with Style 220M 18" rims with 225/40/18 and 235/40/18 tires and 17" winter tires or negotiate without
I'm not asking for my money back, no , that would be silly.

Anyway here it is.

Pictures are a bit outdated but car looks same today. It was lowered in the pics but sits on OE springs and shocks now. I will take some more pictures of Interior for interested parties.
Again, Im not in any rush to sell Im just trying to understand if it makes sense to sell it based on whats it worth today.

Thank you.

Unfortunately with that much Kms, I'd say it worth in the range of 6-9k.

Hmm, thats a quite a range of numbers. Would you personally pay 9 or 6k?

I think Im gonna start at $8500 and entertain all offers from then on.

The range is based on age and mileage, after an inspection the condition will tell a buyer what it's worth to them.

It also depends on how quickly you want to get rid of it or how lucky you get to find the right buyer. For 6k it would sell fairly quick. For close to 9k you'd have to find the right buyer and do safety and etest included, even that might take a while. Plus being the fall, the odds are against you. Selling it in spring or summer would have probably given you a better chance.

What a nice example of a clean e46. Why don't you keep it for a year or two and ill buy it off you after my e46 dies

I agree with those price ranges. E46s have really declined in price the past few years. However, if there is a "right buyer" for you, hopefully they will be on maX and recognize what a deal this is. GLWS if you go ahead with it! (If not call me up in a year :p)

I'd love to keep it for a few more years , its just that I got my eye on an M-Sport E39 that I cant resist.

I had an Msport 530/5 that I really really liked years ago that I sold to buy this E46 and I regret selling it ever since I saw the new owner drive it away. Call me crazy but thats the truth. I've forgotten about that car for some time but the memories keep coming back. Its like breaking up with a girl and pulling your hair the next day screaming why why why did I do this !!!!! knowing you will never see her again. Young and stupid is the only explanation.)))

Anyway, I've got 2 reasons for selling.
-3 years is a bit much to own a car, I;m getting bored with it
-I NEED to buy a clean M-Sport E39 ,preferably 530/5 but I might have to open my eyes to some 540/6 examples eventhou I really dont want the M62

Forgot to add the pic of the driver's seat. I know alot of people wonder if the bolster is all worn out and ripped like it is on most sport packaged high mile E46s.

Well, its not
