Fil's S62 E39 Touring and Imola E38

So I got a slight last minute call from Fil to get his cars ready for Bimmercruise. I showed up on a Friday evening and finished at 4am Sunday morning. Somehow pulling off two cars. I usually cut it close just finishing one car in one day!

I started on his E39 Touring. The paint wasn't too beaten up but the clear was pretty difficult to get good results with my PC. I had ordered my Flex but it didn't come in time

Started with a good foam wash:

Cleaning the wheels with a super soft boars hair brush:

Taped up after claying the car:

What I had to deal with:

Getting good correction for a 1 stage polish:

Slowly, the car took on a completely different color! Much more blue and crystal clear.

I even got the swirls out of the door pillars:

Carbon front lip before and after

Along with the job I washed and dressed the wheel wells, all trim and tires dressed with a deep black matte look. I dont like the shiny stuff!

Engine bay was cleaned and dressed as well.

This is the only shot I took of the E38. There was no time to be taking photos unfortunely. Just a very late wash.

Here are some pics from the show I stole
The next day at the show was the first time I got to see the finished result in daylight!
