I might be in... if I have me E30 by then lol... and I'm not working that day...

idea! why not make it a little bit interesting by doing a 50/50 charity/hold'em poker run?

Everyone pays say $20 to enter [2x$10 to keep it simple] each car gets a sealed envelope with 2 cards in it. The rest of the deck is placed in an envelope and sealed. At the end of the cruise the 5 house cards are dealt and the envelopes are opened... best hand wins. This way everyone can stay together for the cruise and there is no advantage to being first/last into a stop.
A good seasonal charity would be The Daily Bread foodbank for example. Local news would likely cover some of the event as part of their awareness coverage that they do for the foodbank at that time of year. I think one of the torstar "Wheels" columnists has a bimmer fwiw they might send someone to cover the event. If we can have fun and raise some $ and profile for a deserving charity why not?
What do you guys think?

The forks would be a great drive inmo always wanted to do that route heard a lot of good things about it and it would be a beautiful run around Oct 12 with the fall colours in full flight.

Your car is as plush and cruisable as the day it left the factory

As much as I like the idea, I prefer to have a low key meet and cruise with a few fellow enthusiasts. We wouldn't be able to have as much fun if the media was following us around

Leave the poker runs to the L4P guys who have excess cash to blow, E30 guys are notoriously cheap, they'll need that $20 to pay for gas for the cruise

We're not cheap, we're frugal. That's why I suggested only $20 those L4P guys with their big gold chains and cheap cologne don't get outta bed for less than $100.

Are you racing in chump car? Or just hanging in the pits?

I still have to talk to Scott to firmly decide what date we're going to roll.
