Fall E30 meet/cruise?

I’ve been talking with Scott about setting up an E30 meet and cruise likely for late September or early October. I just wanted to see how much interest there would be in either. Since Scott did the cruise route last year, I’ve been hashing out a potential cruise route for this year. Right now the route that I have would be about 300-350km round trip. I haven’t test driven the route yet, but on the map it looks like it hits some pretty fun roads.

The meeting spot will likely be somewhere in Mississauga near the 401, right now I'm thinking the Boston Pizza at Mississauga Rd and Derry Rd. because there's a few places to grab a bite there before we'd head out for the cruise.

Obligatory pics from last year...

I'd be down for a meet. Undecided on the cruise though.

I'm fully down for a meet and get coffee or maybe burger and milkshake (60s style). As for the cruise I can't help but get these premonitions like in Final Destination. Lol

The cruise is the best part IMO. Cruising around with a bunch of cars of the same vintage is always a special feeling and you get a ton of looks too. I still remember back in 2009 when Jay set up an E30 meet an something like 40 cars showed up. The cruise wasn't that great because it was short and mostly through town, but it was still an amazing sight to see.

Do you mean the Autumn '09 cruise? That was the cruise I put together.

Edit: this meet:

Was that one you? I probably thought it was Jay because I remember him being there with his E30. I just remember that I didn't care for the route much. Not everyone was given directions, so when cars got split up by traffic lights people didn't know where to go. I might not have even done the whole cruise for that reason.

Yeah haha. My first attempt at a cruise... not the most organized thing in the world! But great turnout!

I'd be in for a cruise/meet. Cruise > meet though.

Not free the 28th of Sept, but anytime beyond that is free.

How about we tentatively say October 5th as the date. Or the 6th if it's raining on the 5th.

Jot that down in your calendars for now so you don't book something else that weekend instead.
