INPA help.

I think the car's EWS needs re-align with the DME but I can't quite get the INPA to work on my laptop, I follow all procedure and installed EDIABAS and when I tried to hook it up to the car with my usb-OBD2 cable, the INPA interface does not show battery is on nor ignition is on, and when I tried to go to sub menu and select EWS it gives me error and goes back to original menu.

Can anyone give some suggestions?

or can someone help out on aligning the EWS?

You might need to modify the cable to have it work with the e39.

Ah bummer, so you think it has to do with the cable?

So I guess because the cable that it gives me error rear out when I try to select module menu and force me go back to main menu?

How much for you to teach me how to use INPA properly? I would like to get this sorted and get the car back on the road.
