^Yea thats true but still close. Surprised on the straights how well the aero is on the E39 as well being the weight is close as it is you'd thing the e92 would have a better drag coefficient to make up for it...hmmmmmm

I don't go by wiki, google, or anything other than an independent entity actually weighing the cars to the same set standards.

The tech at the dyno day mentions that the m3 v8 didn't make the same numbers as my car... He didn't mention exactly what numbers though....

So.... I still don't get this.... How come the e39 in the video has vents on the hood? Is it really an e39? Regardless of which driver, m3 or m5 is quicker, both these guys are killing all the other drivers.... And some hard core cars too!

In the 9 min to 10 mark in that video , it didn't look like the m5 was keeping up.that m3 was pulling hard.
