Broken stabilizer link cradle!!

Hey all.

As I was doing a control arm replacement I was removing the cradle thingy from the old control arms I snapped the ****ing threaded rod.
Well I think I'm ****ed.

If anyone in the Mississauga area has another set they're willing to part with that would be fantastic. Or even any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Chris

I think your talking about part #9:

http://bmwfans.info/parts/catalog/E3...bilizer_front/

Its part number 31351127263 and can probably be had for under $10 from your local dealership.

you could just put a new bolt and nut in in place of the stud. Just grind the bolt head down so it clears the sway bar link.

If you need the car it will be fine to drive without the swaybar hooked up, just take it easy.
