Please Help: no crank

So i have a 92 318is 5 manual i had her sitting for about a week and a half then went to go and start her with no crank the battery is fairly new. All the lights come on and when i turn the key nothing happened no crank the light didn't dim i'm thinking its the starter relay but i have really had time to dive in anybody else have any ideas before i open a can of worms?

first and foremost: ALWAYS check your fuses first.
Check ground straps.a bad or broken engine to body ground will cause short.
check to make sure you're battery cables are secured well on the posts. loose or un tightened cables will also cause problems.

could also be the ignition switch.

I'd start there...

Did you try boosting? These things are sensitive to having low voltage.
