there is no need for that crazy tool.. Just loosen a little at a time and evenly across all the nuts. I did this recently without issue and this is the way everyone does it. Just nbe careful and you won't snap your cams
I was thinking that but wasn't sure that was the safest route since I haven't heard of anyone else doing it that way. So you didn't use the camshaft tool or the timing pin? I know i could just move the harmonic balancer back into TDC but thought there must be a valid reason for the tool.
