I have a 2000 740i that blows heat on bottom and top always. On driver side only. This has recently happened and has not fixed it self as I was hoping. No matter what setting I choose, it always blows heat top and bottom, the front vents are not as hot. The only way I can control the huge amount of heat, is to select the front vents only, then I get a colder air than the desired setting. So there is a imbalance. The passenger side works fine. I have closed the rear vents. Any idea of what the heck is going on? Winter is here so I need to fix this.
