Cup holders

So I'm loving daily driving my new e30 these days but one annoyance is the lack of cup holders. Cradling my morning cup of timmies in my crotch while driving is not pleasant! What are you guys doing to solve this issue?

Wedge it between the seat and the door near the seatbelt buckle

We have a Husco armrest with sliding cupholders. Only works with an auto, gets in the way with a stick.

But, to be honest, if you're driving an E30, you shouldn't have cupholders. In fact, no car should have cupholders. /enddeutscherant

I have the E30 slide out armrest/cup holder with a stick, it's fine but they are expensive and not that sturdy. A quick google search came up with another option involving an assistant?

there is a perfect cup holder for e30 I put in all mine but it mounts high. You can get them from Canadian tire and mounts onto the air vents. cost is about 10.00 and allows for air flow through it so you can keep it warm with the heat register directed onto it. it's silver in color and can hold up to an large coffee maybe a bit bigger. one down side. hitting bumps can make it spill all over the place so you should have drank some before. LOL

these were made for Honda I believe but work great.

I have had the vent cupholder and it sucked, got rid of it and bought a door card cupholder from crappytire, that still sucks but it holds a half drank cup pretty well. That pricey one aberg posted looks like crap but seems like its the best option.

I switched to Second cup or Mc Donalds for my morning coffees. If you buy a small you can wedge it into the area forward of the ashtray below the HVAC controls. It won't move even during spirited driving.
Those seem to be the only cups that fit unfortunately.
