Another e30....

So this followed me home today ... I couldn't pass it up. For about the cost of about 10 cases of non-premium beer, this is what I have ...

1991 318is, has about 290K, runs, but needs a clutch. Really nice black interior (I mean really nice, no rips or tears) heated sport seats, rear ski bag, trunk carpet is perfect, full tool kit, Has a new exhaust and a few other bits. The car sat for at least 2 years, underside is really clean. Driver's side fender has some rust, same with just below the battery area in the trunk. The rest of the car is remarkably clean, with original paint.

Not sure what to do with it yet ...(I have a 318is beater, 325i Touring) but just couldn't leave it sitting in the yard for the price I paid. Looks like it will sit in my driveway for now.

Yes it does ....
This car won't be a track car (not by me anyway) I have a 240Z for track days.
Right now I'm thinking that this interior will end up in my 318is winter car (unless you can convince me that it shouldn't)

I know I have a problem. I'll admit that. In fact, I'd love to have the fronts too for their heat. Right now, I swap in a cloth winter interior; sport, heated, ski pass rear with headrests, but thats such a waste of time. That rear seat is such a unicorn to me. I hear about them, but can never score one. A guy on R3v offered me one for $300, which I laughed at. I'm in need, but my habit isn't at that level. I don't know what I could offer you, besides my back seat in return. It would still match, it just wouldn't have the ski pass, but it has Mtechnic seat badges in it. I don't know how attached to having a ski pass you are. I wouldn't need the bag as I already have one. I dunno, if you're interested in selling/trading, I could offer misc parts in return along with my regular back seat (Map light rear view mirror, whatever) I'll PM you my parts bin, haha.

It's just uncommon in the 318is perforated black vinyl. You can find them in cloth and pleather/leather anywhere. It's that perforated black one that has alluded me for the last two years. Goddamn unicorns I tell you!!!

those of us who are passionate about these cars are in the same boat Scott; I was just teasing... otherwise I wouldn't have half of what most people wished for. so it goes without saying...
