Disappointed!

Spoke to BMW Toronto today who stated that as far as they know, there are no plans to bring the 6 series M Sport Edition to Canada. Can anyone confirm this? If true, extremely disappointed. Why can't Canada receive the same special editions as the US? Didn't we get the 1 Series M Sport Edition?

As always, the US market is larger than Canada and maybe based on their marketing strategy that model is not making its way here, unless one is buying one, then one might be disappointed..

Finally Bugatti Veyron is here though

all bmw's sold in the USA are admissible under RIV rules, if you're serious about getting one you can. dealers will give you a hard time about exporting a brand new car but it can be done.

I dunno why you'd want a bmw superyacht anyway, fugly fugly fugly.

@Damameke: So Bugatti is willing to sell in Canada if Drake wants one?

@Propr'one: Which US BMW dealers are willing to sell a new car to a Canadian for export? You make it sound like having a superyacht is a bad thing! I guess you don't like the M6 gran coupe either.

if you're serious about buying the car i'll try to help you out. you'll likely pay a penalty, but you can import the car as new to Canada. im not posting contact info for anyone online, BMW AG frowns on US dealers doing this (monopolistic practice to keep pricing in Canada high)

and no, I don't. the whole 6 series is pretty stupid, it looks worse and performs worse than the comparable 5er. to each their own, though.

We did not get the 135is in Canada, but did the get the M sport edition. All these editions really see is different paint/interior options but no performance difference. They include all the packages (tech, exec etc.) inclusive as well. The only special edition we are getting in Canada that has an actual performance upgrade as well as the unique paint would the 2014 335i M performance Edition (available in Laguna Blue!)
