Door#1 -2 or 3 ....help me choose!

Looking to buy my lady a new car next weekend...having a tough choice deciding between the following:

1) 2009 A4 S-line
2) 2009 Lexus IS 250
3) 2009 Volkswagen CC

All of the above at approx 75K kms - all appox $20K - all fully loaded-auto.

If you were me which of the above 3 would you choose and why?

Thanks for your feedback...

(yes I am aware this is a BMW forum which is why I hope to get unbiased feedback)

Personally, I'd avoid the IS. It really depends on what she wants: economy, sportiness, comfort?

The A4 would be my first choice, but the price seems a little low to me--I would check it out thoroughly.

The CC would be nice too, but the finish just isn't the same.

The most important question is *what do you want/expect out of a vehicle for your wife!?* Otherwise these suggestions are pointless. Do you/her want it to be sporty or reliable or cheap-to-operate, etc? You haven't described anything with respect to the purpose that car is going to serve.

Assuming she wants a no headaches, trouble-free commuter that you just put gas in and go, I'd recommend the IS250.

Drive around with her and see if you can find those three cars with casual chit chat and hear what she says. She'd be grateful for a car but you want her to be happy with it.

If she's a real lady= Lexus
If she is a lady= A4
If she is neither= VW

The above is based on actual science.

A4, Lexus, VW...

A4 - smallest of the 3 but still hella sexy.
Lexus - Seems lil bit an more for "Family"
VW - Same a Lexus but VW.

The A4 is awful to drive, the tranny seems lost most of the time.
The finish on a CC is easily on par with either of the other two, plus you get the rarity factor with drop dead good looks.
I drove an A4 around and was genuinely disappointed with it as a daily driver
