707 - 2006 BMW 325i Sedan (VB13) - NA painted in Jet Black (668) with Black Vinyl (KASW) interior were built for the Canadian market.

211 of them were manual

4,511 were built for the US market. 881 of them were manual.

Pretty standard car, the most rare option is that it's a Canadian Spec.

A few pics

Thanks for the info!!...that would explain why I have never seen another Opal Black. Here's a few pics...extended Napa? what does that include? All I notice that may be out of the ordinary is that the front seats are leather all around...even the back, but I'm not too sure what other M3's come with...never really noticed...Can you PM me my build sheet?

It is the only North American E46 M3 in Opal Black Metallic (S12).

The most rare option on this car is the option S778A - Individual BMW identification(Individual door sills). It was installed on 56 out of 26,202 cars.

Can't say exactly how many cars had the exact same interior. Since Individual data is usually entered by hand and there is no easy way to compare it.

Looking at your built sheet, you have an Extended Black Nappa Leather.

There is another Opal Black M3 and it's in Germany. So you have 1 of 2 Opal Black E46 M3s in the world.

Thanks for the photos.

Regarding your interior. Well, it is kinda confusing.
Here is your Individual Data

It is definitely not an Extended leather in the E46 M3 sense. Extended leather on E46 M3 has lower part of the dash and center console in leather.

Looking at your build sheet I think here what "extended as Q9 (M3: basic as N5)" means.

Q9 is the code for Nappa Mosaic Leather. It was available on the Euro-spec non-M3 E46s. So, on the non-M3 E46s extended leather covers same parts in leather as basic leather interior on the E46 M3, hence the (M3: basic as N5) on your build sheet. N5 is the code for Nappa leather that was standard on the E46 M3s. Therefore, your type of Nappa leather is different from the standard Nappa leather that was used on the E46 M3.

Here are the photos of the Black Mosaic Nappa leather on a regular E46.

I think that wood trim works well with the color of leather. Now exterior color, I'm not sure about, got to see the car from a distance.

Yeah, right now AutoCheck is the closest thing for this in US/Canada.

As far as I know it means that it has iron block instead of the aluminum block that was used for the rest of the world. So nothing really special.
If you find any Individuals, let me know.
