That's an interesting car you got there. First of all, you got a Black Nappa leather which was not a standard offering. Also you got a black headliner and no ZHP nor M Sport package. All cars with the Nappa leather has the option S930A - CONSIDERATION OF PRICE DEPENDENCY. I have no idea what it is used for, but I'm guessing you got some kind of a Special Edition.

7 - 2002-2005 BMW 330i Sedan (EV53) - NA painted in Black Sapphire Metallic (475) with Black Nappa Leather (V5SW) interior were built for the Canadian market.

1 was built for US. It is a development car, but it was sold to someone in the US.

Do you know any history behind your car?

Wow, thanks for the info!

I purchased this car new in late 2003 (2004 model) in Canada. It was, like you mentioned, a special edition car. Interestingly (given the rarity), this special model was advertised right on the "build your BMW" section of the BMW Canada website. I still have the printout from the website. It was listed as:
"Exclusive Edition w/Exclusive Leather Black Extended Package" - $5,950
I went to my dealer with the printout and my sales advisor told me I'd have to wait for it to come in, which I did.

This "exclusive edition" included anthracite headliner and upgraded/extended leather. In addition to being Nappa rather than Montana leather, the middle section of the seats (front and back) has a textured pattern; this textured pattern is also found on the leather door cards.

Are you able to tell from the info that you have if this same "exclusive edition" was sold in different colors of leather?

Can you post pictures and the printout that mentions the Exclusive Edition?

Exclusive Edition was also available in Light Yellow Nappa Leather.

BMW built 28 cars with Black Nappa leather and 10 cars with Light Yellow Nappa leather.
1 black and 1 light yellow were US pre-production cars that were built in mid-late 2002 as 2003 models. The rest of the cars were Canadian and they were built between 09/2003 and 06/2004.

Out of 27 Canadian cars with the Black Nappa leather, 4 were manual and 23 were automatic
Out of 9 Canadian cars with the Light Yellow leather, 1 was SMG, 1 was manual and 7 were automatic

The US pre-production cars were all automatic and the one with Light Yellow interior was not imported to the US

123 were manual

The most rare option on this car is the option S2CDA - BMW light alloy wheel, spider spoke 136. It was installed on 105 out of 5,458 cars.

Even though E46 320i was not officially sold in the US, BMW built 38 cars in US specification. Most of those cars were not actually sold, but a handful of them made it to the US. There was 1 US spec 320i with your color/upholstery combo. This car was sold to someone.
