Unhappy Need help with m3 rear end swap

I need to know how much to extend the m3 driveshaft for it to work with the stock 5 speed transmission. I have the complete m3 rear end and i seem to be stuck with the length of the drive shaft

This might be an issue of trial/error by just attempting it. Depending on the situation, you can bolt up the rear end, take your measurements and have the driveshaft custom altered (http://www.patsdriveline.com/) within a day or two. Keep in mind that they're also splined which allows for a bit of movement (+/- 2"). It was nice meeting you yesterday!

I think I may have read somewhere that a 7-series drive shaft (or part of it) may work? Maybe search around for that.

Otherwise Pat's drive line looks pretty good.
