Track day at tmp

Went today to Cayuga (toronto motorsports park), was a bit cold but some nice cars show up and had tons of fun, car with charger is absolute blast to drive. Didn't expect to see 2 Mclaren's flying around the track. Cars at the track: 2 Mclaren's, r35 gtr, Porsche gt3 rs, e63amg, ferrari scuderia, rs5, e90 m3, e36 vf supercharged, sti on slicks, ae86, my e46 m3 and few ather cars. Turn out nice tracking day

I went last year to a few similar events with friend's 4thgen civic, many super cars, and ran into a bunch of guys with kit cars. It's always been fun there

How did the Maclaren sound?

Mclaren didn't sound as crazy as scuderia, but so freaky fast. I'm pretty shure if somebody time him hi set track record

If it were on slicks and later in the summer, it would be possible, but atm, the record is 1:12.1 using a 11' GTR(mines). Not easy to beat...

re

If his Ferrari didn't have fitment issues with the slicks, it would have been interesting to see how fast he could have gone. Regardless of drivetrain configuration, it is still a track record. I know someone with an SR3 which could give the record a real challenge, but they don't have the experience to get it there.

Although I prefer OTA to CSCS, this lap record battle is a great marketing tool! I will be at a couple of their TMP events again and I hope I get to witness the lap that tops the GTR.
