OK, I used to have a twin Turbo 434 cubic inch full-tube mustang. It was a super street car,I also had a 302 based motor with 2 stage no2 ,street car ran 10s back in 1997. Now i help a promod guy which is my boss jay santos with the orange camaro. My name is Dave Silva.I gave all that up. And yes I know what 1400hp power is, what are you impliying buy all that 12:50 compressin and all that lightweight talk...."!!! ..is the vidio a fake???I had a friend with less than 1400 hp and went 8.20s.

I asked the owner on youtube if the trans was stock ? He replied yes.and he had implied the whole car was stock and survived the power. Do the math on a 3700lbcar with 1400, hp I can bet it will be in the 8s.

I don't care who you, are, what you've done, your buddies car or what some guy told you on youtube etc I'm telling you it's physically impossible to make 1400rwhp on a stock s85 and as an "experienced" drag racer like yourself you Should know why it wouldn't work. I'm not explaining it.

It's actually quite comical to me that you think a stock s85 is capable of 1400rwhp :rofl

Sorry don't post much here at all just a lurker, but OP you have lost every ounce of credibility by calling nitrous oxide NOS. NOS is a brand a crappy one at that and has not really evolved, but since you have so much experience the least you can do is call it what it is and that's nitrous. FYI to learn more visit sites like nitrousoutlet they do have faq's section for starters.

And finally there is no production block that makes 1400whp on oem internals that's not an iron block, ls series, 2jz, vAg v10, aan, rb's, don't even make 980+ at the tires either with a 13% or 24% parasitic loss, let alone with 12.5 static cpr with forced induction and chemical inter-cooling such as nitrous/meth its impossible.

Therefore at the minimum rods & pistons are required, copper hg etc etc, to run 8's in a rwd car your looking at tubular chassis at least back halved minimum with tubular k member which this m6 clearly does not have let alone solid rear axle & a mini tub. It can be done for much less but a th400 or pg needs to be behind it as well, unless your going for the irs/6pd record in that case things are broken extremely frequently and does not qualify.

Sorry for the rant the ignorance in the thread was very disappointing, also r888's don't work that well on a prepped surface amazing on the street btw, bias ply slick is a requirement since r compounds & drag radials offer to much initial shock and is physically a much harder compound that does not bind/grow under pressure such a a bias ply lots of variable involved.
