E30 Skid Plate Red46 Sump Armor

I realize making your first post a For Sale thread is always a little fishy but I've been a long time member of R3V Limited and I thought I would make known to more people.

I make a fully stainless Skid Plate that comes with all new hardware, including new steering rack bolts. I've been selling these for over a year and had great success. I am confident that they are the strongest bolt on skid plate out there.
Here is a link to my R3V thread so you can see I'm legit http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=269486

CNC Laser cut 304 Stainless Steel
11 gauge 0.120" thick
Includes all the hardware you need. Including the nuts TIG welded to the stainless backing plate and new steering rack bolts.
Small 1/2" flanges bent at 90º, makes the large flat areas very stiff/strong

What's included:
-SumpArmor
-Core support backing plate with welded nuts
-All needed hardware, including new steering rack bolts
-Installation instructions
-Sticker

$140 plus shipping
Shipping to Canada seems to be about $40

How to buy:
Please contact me via email, ben@red46.net
Include your postal code so I can confirm shipping costs and then I will send you a PayPal invoice for the total.
All payments must be via PayPal

I'd love to see pictures of what other people are doing.
I didn't realize there was anyone else selling E30 skid plates besides Race Skids.

Unfortunately, no. I'm in a pretty rural area and I've had a hard time finding one nearby.

not thread jacking… yours is definitly a good piece, just not the strongest because of where it mounts. the front lower rad support is not strong when it meets concrete. the ones i build tie to the frame rails and subframe.

Of all the information in my original post I didn't think this would be the biggest point of discussion. But oh well. I guess it's a "mine is stronger than yours" thing now.
Your's is definitely stronger, that is pretty clear. From the pictures you linked to, it looks like it's missing a couple things. Full oil pan protection, a "finished" look, and most importantly it doesn't meet the requirements of SpecE30 or Pro3. Both require that a skidplate be attached to the core support. And, again....are yours for sale?
I guess I should go back and edit my original post to explicitly say the things that I thought the average person would assume it to mean. I apologize for any confusion.

I believe it is the strongest bolt-on skidplate on the market, it also fully meets the rules and regulations of SpecE30 and Pro3

Let me be clear. I applaud you making your own. Why buy it when you can make it, right? That is always how I look at things. I encourage anyone, that has the ability, to make there own. They don't have to be pretty, just functional.

That being said....I have them in stock, ready to ship.

^ I'm not comparing products. Yours is an awesome piece, by far the best I've seen. The one in the photo is not complete, there are plates that have to be bolted on still.
I'm not comparing or competing because yours are off the shelf 140$ where as the ones we make start at $300.
Its just I've seen the race skids one bend up and crack oil pan. Yours is definitely stronger but I see that happening still.

With all that being said, I'm going to order one of yours and bolt it on top of the one on my car.

I like seeing what else is out there. My skidplate is not the best option for everyone. But is the best choice for most people. Options are important.
Thanks
