bone stock 86 325es w 885 head vs 731? any long term results please................b

howdy folks

any real life results appreciated with bolt on head switch with the euro 731 head from 320/323 versus the 885 i head and results

i am considering the pre 87 325es and wanted to know if anyone, without other modz, switched the heads and the long term results of such a swap. *more interested in the 731 head but knowledge is knowledge. I am interested in securing the period correct feel without going 24v.

i understand that there are a plethora of better options but wanted to go this route for the sake of simplicity. I did a lil research and chose this route and just wanted long term results of such an ....experience.
