A Beautifully Preserved '95 318IS

Hey there. Just got this car as a graduation gift. My father is in the car buisness and was able to scoop this up from the original owner. Me some accomplices are quite surprised at how well this was taken care of.

The car only has 86,500 km on it. Not a single collision or modification done, only teeny-tiny scratches from the 18 years use of it (Getting them sanded out).

Here's a starting picture. I will be posting more tomorrow as I hope it will be a beautiful day!

Just a note: Yes, yes that is a 1972 Rally Nova in the garage.

yes. Get the skirts re-painted. They are originally black, they faded to grey, over the years, I assume. Also theres a few scratches which i'm getting wet-sanded out by my brother all for free! Also I'm installing a new headunit (deck). Stereo is good enough for now haha

The "rockers" (not skirts) were actually never black. IIRC they have a gray coating, and there is actually colored paint under it. Some go through lengths to scrub off the coating, but the best way is to sand it and completely repaint. The later cars that came with side skirts (96+) had the rockers painted body color, with skirts covering them. To complete the look you would paint the bottom parts of the front and rear bumpers as well (which were left unpainted).
