I decided to try out the sea foam....long story short I put it in the intake, gas tank and a little bit in the oil. I am not sure about the difference since there's no way for me to measure the changes, but it in my mind I think its better.
I did also get the check engine light that the guy in video got, but I do not have a ODBII to reset it. Was wondering if there was another way to reset it? I tried unplugging the battery but that didn't work.
Also, I took the people who recommended this stuff to me by their word but reading up on it now....how bad is it that I put it in the oil?
My take on it is if your engine is healthy, running fine, pulls hard etc. do not put any additives in it. If it still runs fine you should be okay just change the oil and get the code checked out.
If you live by Scarborough (warden / st.clair), I will be in the city on one of the coming weekends. I own an OBD tool that will reset that light for you (and I'll do it for free, of course.)
