Toronto Auto Brokers - Anyone used them?

Hello - has anyone used Toronto Auto Brokers in Vaughn?

I'm looking at a 2009 128i that they have for sale, trying to get some background information. I searched online and they have a excellent BBB rating and found a website with 25+ good reviews.

Hoping someone on here can give me some feedback.

I've never used them but buying used always has the same rules...

Get the car checked at a reputable BMW mechanic

Check the history of the car to avoid major accident rebuilds or flood damaged car(Carfax?)

If you're financing, check the rates and who they are with and if it's a front loaded financing rate - meaning you pay the interest first, then the capital - leaving you in the hole for the car - check with your bank to see if they can beat it...

It's probably an off lease, local car so check the maintenance history...

Thanks for the financing information - I've always just paid in full and this one I will finance a portion of it. Will also look at the maintenance history as it sounds like it was a local off lease.

yep, bought my e63 there from Ari. They're just down the road from Maranello where I took it in for an inspection. I found them to be straight up. Good luck.

Thanks for all the info! I just went today and they seem straight up - will post up again if I end up buying it and my final thoughts on using them. They have a huge selection of really nice cars.

I did take the 128i out for a road test and loved it - much more power then my 325i and the interior with the sport package is awesome.

I've looked over a few cars here before for family and friends... never bought one but never saw anything that was wrong... unlike some of the shady dealers on Steeles/400 area.

Barnsdale, if your looking at a 128, find yourself a nice 330 zhp 2005 or 2006 with low milage... much better car to work on and cheaper overall with probably one of the best looking cars out there even today.

Traded in the E46 and bought the 2009 128i - overall it was a good experience and would recommend TAB. They had no problem letting me take the car myself to RMP for a pre-purchase inspection and I ended up driving back right after and buying it.

They seem to deal with only higher end cars and I would imagine that they could also find a specific car that you're looking for. The 128i was mint inside and out and also had the sport package...it had everything I was looking for and the price couldn't be beat so it was a no brainer to buy.
