My e30 has a stock 4:10lsd med case, maybe cause it is a "stock" diff they can?

Haven't looked that far into the rules, gonna be a year or two till I will be able to run a car in the series, so now all I can do is go by what the guys I know are doing

They are definitely cheating then. Technically, yes the 325i did come with a 4.10, but only later ones with Autotragic. So if the car is running a 5spd swap, its not correct. Plus its pretty easy to check in Tech, it would be silly to get disqualified over something so blatantly obvious. You could even guestimate whos running different gearing just by observing their shiftpoints on track.

On the flip side, you'd have to be an even bigger douche to protest it since its all for fun anyways. But judging by the seriousness of the American guys in Chump... who knows! I'm eager to see what the atmosphere is like for this event in April at WGI.

I don't know if I would call it cheating, maybe a point hit in laps but you can run anything your just gonna get more penalties.

Rule definition and interpretation, is alive and well

Once we get a weekend with some nice weather my car will get all buttoned up for the season.

-poly condor motor and trans mounts (reinforcing front subframe ears too)
-custom made solid mounted shifter
-freshly rebuilt rx7 calipers, zimmerman rotors, hawk hp+ pads
-custom brake ducts with backer plates
-225 45 r15 hankook rs3's

What motor is going in your car richie?

For now just the m20, have a lot of suspension and brake upgrades to do b4 worrying about more power, but plans are a 302 so doing the booster delete while I am swapping peddle boxes.

Just pulled my E30 steering rack out. Z3 rack going in tomorrow. Also changing a control arm on the left side and installing a Treehouse Racing LCAB. Right side control arm and LCAB went on yesterday. Just figured it'd be easier to do the left side without the steering knuckle in the way.

Sure, man. I had M3 offset bushings in before so the geometry won't be different, but hopefully they're worth it in terms of sharpening things up. IMHO, I'd go with the Bimmerworld "TrackCABs" because the paint job on the Treehouse ones are ****ing horrible. They came in all banged up. I'm not the first person to have this complaint if you read reviews on them. They're also a few bucks cheaper than the Treehouse ones too.

The only reason I didn't was because I ship to a US address and have my parcels forwarded to Canada. Bimmerworld wouldn't accept my order because of that and I'm not paying UPS brokerage fees.

Hmm well I wouldn't be concerned about the paint, give them a coat of tremclad before you throw them on lol. The only rubber left in my car is those front CAB's so I should eventually get something better, keep me posted
