How long to get approval from OMVIC for DEALER license?

Lots of car guys here,


Was wondering how long the process is, after everything is submitted. (Place of business with proper signage/ operating funds $/proof of / GST # with accompanied Business legal business trade name/ OMVIC cert sales license and all that jazz..)

I was told over the phone that after submitted the paperwork, it won't be until 4 weeks until they start looking at it.

I have a clean criminal records/abstract, no history or background in shady stuff, and my monies invested are legitimate..

I have a friend in the car business, and apparently he had to wait 6 months before getting his ticket?? I don't like the fact of acquiring a lease for X amount of months and have to sit and wait while throwing money down the toilet?

Okay,

Apparently I don't need to have a lease agreement when the application is being reviewed/processed only afterwards when they discover everything adds up, I could leave that for last..

Different answers from different people all the time @ OMVIC..

yea i would like to know too... i sent my application in, and they sent me a letter back asking me to tell them about the deposits in my account??? also i got a little discrepency with rogers, they billed me twice! and they put it to credits for 131 bucks! FML -_-.. but the good thing is i think i got a nice lady who i booked an appointment to meet with, hopefully all goes well!

they ask some strange questions..
