Why do you think it has a seal or headgasket leak?
And what are the specs? (Really what I want to know is transmission)

Rmpmotors diagnosed it. It's automatic e39 , lots of newer parts on it I have been the owner for 12 years .
Parts I have replaced in past years:
Front ac fan and shroud
Water pump and pulley
Ac compressor
And some other things I can't remember .

No rust really just some spots near jack points.
The car still runs just needs head gasket repair .
Tranny is good I have maintained it well and only ran synthetic engine oil.

The car has coolant leaking into a cylinder, the head will have to be removed to fully diagnose if the head gasket is blown, or a crack is in the cylinder head.
The car runs and drives but burns coolant.

We had a 5 in the shop last month just like this, obviously most economical to swap the motor, so we did.
The price is not bad at all assuming the paint and interior is pretty good, no idea though, no more pics

The trunk lid was replaced 2 years ago with a 540i because the original starting rusting which is common in these cars.
This car is accident free and rmp has been servicing it for me.
17 inch alloy rims shown in first post are also included with new hancook rear all season tires.
