Engine Oil Additives

I came across this Molyslip additive : Link

Was wondering if anyone has actually used this? Does it really work?

I have always stayed away from additives, using only factory recommend oils. Just want to know if it make any difference?

I noticed a decrease in MPG when I started using it on my old E46 - it's recommended from my indy and seems to work so I keep using it with every oil change. For the price and what it does, I believe it's worth it to use. Just my .02

I used to use additives but was told it made insignificant differences unless you're looking at just the stats and marketing hype and you're better off to just keep changing your oil to keep things clean.

I just use name brand good quality synthetic motor oil and skip any oil additives. The cost of conventional motor oil with oil additives is almost the price of synthetic motor oil.

Doesn't motor oil already have additives in it?

It's a profit additive for the additive company.
