carbon crazy!

went carbon fibre crazy today with some DiNoc. made a template to cover my radio, hvac and shifter plate. once they were cut it took 30 seconds to apply them. i then decided to tackle my sagging A pillars and overhead controls. check it out.

I have to admit, I'm impressed with the templates, it's the outcome that I think looks horrid. Please peel that off (esp. the radio and climate control) it doesn't match the wood at all and couldn't look more out of place.

How did you make such perfect cuts? I wanted to make some templates but the cuts always turn out looking horrible.

Looks pretty damn good! I agree, not a fan of the wood trim with the carbon mix, but to each their own.

i have a vinyl plotter! had this material kicking around, so i did this to see how things lined up. was hoping to grab a leather texture, which i plan to do in the future. can also do aluminum, which would look good for people with that trim package. not to mention the hundreds of different wood grains

I'd be interested in a silver aluminum for my shift piece - I find that the black gets marked up pretty easily.

Why not wrap the dinoc on all all the wood trim pieces.. Wood trim and cf are not visually compatible
