custom driveshaft

I'm looking for shop that can build me a custom 1 piece drive shaft. I've called a few shops but the second I told them it was for a BMW they chickened out and told me a bunch of BS. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations?

Im not sure of any where you live, but i've seen people build them out of a mustang ds. Seems to be pretty strong. Might make them feel better if there using one off a ford haha

There is a guy somewhere out in the west end. I'll try and get his info and pm it to you. The american guys are probably worried about balance. They just usually throw shit on their car without balancing it lol.

Search for Cardanic driveline. Good guys, fast turnaround and fair rates. they've replaced the "un-replaceable" bmw u-joints on previous drive shafts I've had and shortened/balanced drive shafts for my swapped e30.

I'm out in Stoney Creek but I work in the west end. I don't mind dealing with anyone in the GTA.
I don't know what good a Mustang driveshaft will be other then the tube itself.
All of the American and Jeep guys are afraid of the U joints and fixturing the driveshaft for welding and balancing. One guy asked me if I could provide tube of steel in the correct metric size. WTF kind of request is that?

+1 for cardanic, every other shop refused to work with my driveshaft and cardanic did the job perfect in a couple days at a good price

Is this shop owned by an older Italian man? If so he's probably the one I'm talking about.

I called the guy at Cardanic and he was very helpful. He's willing to build a 1 piece or cut and customize an E30 2 piece.
I've given up on trying to find useful driveline shops in the Hammer.
