Swapping out ABS sensor, swapped in a faulty one...

So I bought an ABS sensor off eBay becuase my driver rear one was going bad. I replaced it with one off eBay and now...the lights on my dash are gone but the darn thing thinks I'm locking up when I'm slowing down to below 5 kmph.

I posted a LF ad for an ABS sensor since I don't want to chance it again with eBay, really.

Does anyone have any smart ideas to get the hall effect sensor to work better or know a place where I can source one directly for less than $60? I don't want to have to wait for it..
