changes at mosport

Looks like the concrete on the track is all gone. The wet line will be different for sure.

They update their Facebook regularly with pictures -- the new "media centre" on the front straight looks cool too

More races mean a better track and lower costs for us!

I hope they don't change the track, just re-pave it, and some sections are already done. The facilities will definitely improve. Costs, unfortunately, WILL rise.

In which way do you think it will have lower costs for us??? Last year the price went up $1000/day, and we already got our 2013 price......guess what, another $1000/day increase. Who do you think is really paying for all of these upgrades?

I was suggesting that more races, like Nascar, would help help lower our costs (or at least help prevent them from rising too much).

A fancier facility is going to justify a cost increase.. Get ready for $600 track days.

Well the price was bound to go up anyways. I don't expect to see anyone putting the price up just yet. Last ADS I heard trillium had around 200 cars, that's about 15 dollars a car to cover the extra 3k for the weekend.

Also Mosport will be getting some world class competition at Fort Erie, that might keep their prices lower.

Fort Erie will be a NASCAR oval with an infield course... all flat. I'm not too worried about Mosport loosing interest over that.

I thought there was a bit more to Fort Erie, maybe I'm mistaken.
