They said it couldn't be done.
i was foolin around at my friends shop, when his old e30 lip caught my eye. i said hey, wouldn't that look dope on my ghetto ol' e36!
so obviously i picked it up and taped it under the bumper. it was about 5 inches too short; the corners wouldn't stretch at all. my buddy thought it looked good enough, and being the great guy that he is, gave me the lip for free just to see how it would work out. so we took a quick trip to canadian tire, got some 5 inch garden edging and went to work.
we first started with cutting the lip in half down the center, did all that measuring and cutting crap (you know how it goes, measure once cut twice) and before you know it, BOOM.
we have this hella flush JDM tyte scrapin' ghetto lip.

held entirely together by zip ties.
how you feel community. how you feel.

You're sorry? Please sir, I'm sorry! Had I known doing this would make people cry I wouldn't have done it.
The car was acquired to have fun with. Fun will be had with it. Might as well go where no e36 owner has ever gone. What's the point of slamming it and putting it on style fives like every other one on the road? That's boring

Cookie cutter isn't always bad. It means it was done, looked good and people replicated it. (greatest form of flattery)
Something like your lip, well, no one would want to do it.
I just don't understand why you drilled a perfectly good M3 bumper? Your car looked nice before you decided to get "creative".

debatable. i got this to have fun with so im having fun with it. boo hoo, i drilled an 18 year old "perfect" M3 bumper. (previous owner actually cracked the under side of it, so it flexed around like crazy).
if you dont take risks with your first car whats the point of having it.
