Thumbs up Good service again

Thank you guys for the maintenance service yesterday on my E90.

I appreciate that Rocco double checked to ensure that the power steering fluid was indeed CHF-11S rather than ATF fluid.

RMP called to notify me and made sure BEFORE they performed the steering fluid switch . They also educated me that all E90 are suppose to come with 11S fluid even though the cap says ATF as it is sticker that falls off over time on the cap with 11S. This type of customer service would be expected from any consumer and I really appreciate it.

Cheers.

PS. In my opinion, I believe that is a SCREW up on BMW's end for not changing their power steering cap to have the permanently etched 11S on it. Putting a cheap sticker over existing ATF caps is just careless cost saving measures .

Welcome to the world of automotive design. They probably had an engineering change on fluid type part way through testing and already had a large run of caps ordered/made. Or they had a whole bunch of left over caps from a car that uses ATF. Stuff like this happens all the time, and not just to BMW.
