Wow, thats actually a great idea, i woukd have just picked up a gasket but with that sheet of copper i coukd make some other gaskets aswell!, thanks again, in ill let ya know about that flange... its the last piece to my exhaust puzzle

Yeah, if you use both sides of the clamp, you can have a failure and it still doesn't fly apart. Honestly, its not as bad as people say. Just don't be dumb.

Just bought that obx exhaust flange haha, if the 4 bolt holes arent in the right spot ill drill new ones

Right on. Princess Auto have an awesome pipe cutter which works well for this purpose. Kind of works like a pizza cutter or copper water pipe cutter. You can easily cut 90* corners into whatever angles you need.

I actuall have this saw for cutting steel  uncle gave it to me cuz he had no use for it, soo i can cut my pipes with that
Im pretty excieted, yes  ,
My alternator went in my beater 520i so i grabbed the turbos alternator, as well as the o2 sensor  gunna grab a new o2, and swap the alt. Back when the nicer weather comes

I have a 14" metal saw but it didn't make accurate cuts at all, so if you have trouble getting a smooth clean edge, check out the PA cutter. It made cuts cleaner than a factory cut edge.

also got a bit of work done!!.... bought a$30 coil compressor set from princess auto and got the strut inserts out of the housings!!, gunna bring the housings to work tomrrow and cut them!!
