The egt in your setup is a waste of money,you would be better with oil temperature and pressure of course thinking you already have a wide band gauge and boost gauge.

U r correct, i got a wideband, vac&boost, oil pressure. Its just my oil pressure isnt working properly, i have my stock one on the dash that shows i have pressure but the glowshift one shows nothing. Turns on but nothing

Don't use it then,it's not vital unless you race the car.It's nice to be able so see the temp and pressure.

you can get some VDO gauges and sensors ,best would be to get them used from a vw rabbit or audi 80-90 ,thei have amber lights and fit perfectly the bmw dash style if not you can get them new on ebay (vdo vision).

Just replace it with a empty hole if you already have it made (the hole).

Well i have a single din stereo replacment holder for three gauges and would like to keeep three haha, ill try to get the oil pressure gauge working

Here's a thought tho: you are running a supply line to the turbo of oil, and you are running a drain line from the turbo. If either of those come off, you'll lose pressure. edit: you won't lose pressure with the drain off until you're way low on oil lol. Just saying.

I'd rather KNOW I lost pressure, even if its just lucky that I happen to glance at the gauge. Luck favors the prepared, so I prepare.

I also use my pressure gauge to tell whether the car is warm and ready to be treated to some forced air.

I have the glowshift gauge and sender, no issues. Maybe in the spring we can look at trying your gauge on my sender to see what the problem is.

yaaa alright, i was looking forward to having the gauge but for some reason its just not showing anything. ill check the wires again and see if i missed anything.

also i found a place to buy my fenders, un painted for 86$ for each side, this price is from the fender factory on lapariere behind the canadian tire on carling. does this price seem ok? ive looked around a bit. mostly online and shipping is just to much. any other recomendations?

so i went with the fenders, both fenders primed black, for $190, just waiting until the new year because they had to be ordered.

Since i took out my stereo and put m gauges in to replace it, i was thinking i should remove all og the speakers and such, but thinking again it might get a little boring drivin long distances without any music...

soooo pretty much what ive done, instead of having my phone - head unit - amp - speakers, ive wired my phone - amp - speakers, removing the stereo completly.

my thoughts were that the stereo pretty much just bypasses the input of my phone directly to the amp, soooo y have the head unit at all?

i have a four channel kenwood amp, and ive pretty much went from a 3.5 phone jack to double RCA's... ill post a pick and maybe a vid withsome sound tonight. sounds alright toooo
