Motorcycle insurance
Sup to those who ride...
I found my rate, its not the best, nor is it the worst. $300/month, $3600/year. im 24 and the big ticket rate is 25 yrs, so i gotta tough it out a bit...
what do you pay for insurance and who are you with?
it bugs me so much that the statefarm agent who is indian even complains about her own kind with all bullshit fraudulent claims lol...

statefarm doesnt give a shit what class M you hold, or if you did the bike course. the size of the bike and your age is all that matters to them, and your record too obviously.
i didn't get a discount for doing the RTI bike course....thats kinda shit, but you can't mess with statefarm as they give the best rates for young guys and super sport bikes.
its a 2005 cbr 600rr
statefarm works like this
heres the premium ex. my rate $3600/yr
may-sept is prime season, so im paying about 16% of that premium for those months.
oct-april is off season, so thats like %2 of the entire premium per month.
the course is perfect, despite discount or not. it gave me a new respect *not that i never had any* for riders. there are so many techniques that i would have never known. just wish statefarm would notice that!

Question; when you did the course, was that your first time you have ever driven a motorcycle.

i've been on a bike before the course yes. several times actually but that experience alone was nothing short of inadequate...when i did the course, i felt like it was learning to ride a bicycle all over again.

Im with State Farm 113/Month for a 04 yamaha FZ6; 27 with a clean abstract and insured in Hamilton. They do not classify the FZ as a super sport. My course was no longer valid when I moved to S.F. so I got no discount there. I believe the CBR600rr is considered a SS bike to them. You will get a price break at 25 but don't expect it to drop to 110/mth.
