I may need to sell my M52b28 and ZF320 [E36M3 trans!] and use the money to help get my E30 on the road.
Motor and tranny are from an e39 528i, with ~220k km. I pulled them myself.
I also have most of the E39's front body harness.
Had to pull the dash and everything from the front of the E39 to get this. It has the full EWS3 system and modules though! (that you'll need if you plan to swap without a retune)

I think cyl #4 just had a stuck ring from sitting for so long.
When we ran the test again after the motor had been briefly fired up, cyl #4 was fine. I forgot to write down the new numbers, because I was no longer concerned.
I believe the clutch is shot. Car moved in gear but there was almost no clutch to speak of.
Make me an offer.
If I get a good enough price, I may be forced to sell it. (Although I eventually wanted to swap it into my E30)
