Subaru has already said this car will easily accept an ej swap, so it's simply a matter of finding an engine to transplant. An ej207 would be perfect in this car, twinscroll performance with an 8k limiter. That would be a incredibly fun car.

A 207 would be an amazing swap. Especially Pro-Tuned. You can squeeze close to 375whp out of them in stock form in a Subaru. In a RWD chassis it would be better.

wait until the tuners fully get their hands on this thing! It is going to be super quick!

Greddy has already done a great job making it look better with a drop, wheels and exhaust:

Really? I'm the only one who thinks that car is dirty Sexy? I love it, and scions have always been so annoying.

I think the body lines look nice overall, and it has a classic silhouette. Even the Picasso like changes they made to the headlights and front end for production are slowly starting growing on me... very slowly. But I'll never get over those cheap bulbous tail lights that stick out like that. I donít know what Toyotas obsession is with protruding lights. Some aftermarket company needs to fix that like Superlux did for the Genesis.

Iíve always had this feeling that if a car has to grow on me, is it really attractive? or is it just that I'm slowly coming to terms with the fact that its ugly, and prolly not gonna change.

Not sure if that was the first or not but I was on the Scion launch back in May and one of the journos stuffed a white FR-S there to. It was at the St Eustache road course and there are a couple walls bordering the final 2 turns. With the traction control off, that is the risk you take because there isn't a lot of tire under this car and after a few hot laps very experienced drivers were going off track in this car because the tires were greasy.

It can a real handful on those wack Michelins. Personally, I liked that characteristic about the car but inreality I'd be stuffing the largest square setup I could under there with like a Nitto NT05, Bridgestone RE11 or Falken RT615K. Average guy turns TC off and tries to be a hero is in trouble.

^ Shit like that is typically not filmed in the same order it's shown. It's possible that they did the driving part first, but it was edited poorly. Or Jay's chin got in the way and intercepted the initial statement of weight before it hit his ears.
