Thorold Tunnel

My buddy shot this of our recent trip through the huge Thorold Tunnel. It stars my M5 with an RPI GT exhaust

I drive that tunnel 2-3 times a day, everyday for 18 years now at 80-90 km hr it takes about 10 seconds max. Want huge tunnel's visit Paris! 4-6 lanes wide and LONG.

Two things, there is occassionally a cop at the top with the sun to his back doing radar, like shooting ducks. The speed limit is 80, you can get away with 90+ but 100+ and your toast if doing radar.

Secondly, don't block the damn tunnel especially two deep for videos, use the left lane for the fly by's. Not being a dick but it is a busy tunnel during the day, very busy, better for vid's at night, very nice lights in there.

Lastly Thorold Imports is literally the first exit coming out of the tunnel (Pine st.) the BEST Bimmer shop around.

I put my car off the limiter and made some nice sounds in there once.

We did not block the tunnel at all. We drove it on a Sunday and were always careful to wait for big gaps. Just because we made a quick video does not means we were being jerks about it.

Thanks for the info on the shop, I may check it out.
