Anyone heard of a Hartge H25 SP?

So I've come across an 87 or 88 E30 badged as a Hartge H25 SP. I've heard of H26 and H27 but a Google search on H25 reveals very little.

Have any of you guys heard/know of such a beast?

yeah it's a 2.5ltr with hartge package. badges, spoilers.. mild performance upgrade. the 26 and 27 are displacement among other things. There is also an H35.

It might be an H23 with a different crank that strokes it closer to a 2.5. The H26 used a 525d crank and rods which brought it to 2554cc.

But yeah H25 was never an official Hartge option as far as I can tell.

There's a Hartge 2.7 SP as far as I can see, it came with individual throttle bodies, that's the "SP" part. I'm not aware of there being any in the UK but perhaps there's one hidden away.

Looked at one badged H25 for 6 months, even worked on it. It was the full body package plus stroked, headers, full exhaust, wheels etc.

It may not have been a UK option since this one was ordered here at a Canadian dealership and they installed everything.

Interesting. UK and Europe documentation doesn't list an H25, however models tended to vary back in those days to meet engine size/emission or fuel consumption targets to avoid costs of the cars or the vendors costs going up.

Does anyone have any pics of the H25 ?

Most recent Hartge I've seen is a friend bought a white touring, think it's an H26 with the usual add ons but this is an auto and has had a Racelogic single paddle gear change set up added. I'll post up some pics if anyone is interested enough.
